FGS Hosts “Pack Out” Inventory Seminar

On Wednesday November 8, 2006, First General Services’ personnel hosted a presentation on the application and usefulness of its Pack Out Inventory (POI) software program for adjusters and contents’ specialists from several insurance companies.

Conducted by Tyler Townsend of Assured Software, the seminar highlighted the use of POI as a means of inventorying and pricing of both salvageable and non-salvageable household items involved in contents losses.  The unique application of POI by FGS’ certified contents specialists will streamline and simplify the inventory of items involved in losses, thus expediting the claims settlement process.

With personnel specially trained and certified through the Restoration Alliance, FGS is prepared to apply the POI capability to both large and small losses to the benefit and satisfaction of property owners and insurance personnel, in order to ultimately resolve the claims.

Insurance personnel interested in learning more about POI and its application should contact First General Services through dsciandra@firstgeneralservice.com

FGS Holds Its 23rd Annual Golf Tournament

For the past 23 years, First General Services has sponsored its annual golf tournament as a means of thanking our friends and associates in the insurance industry for our success.  Once again, in an effort to expand our contributions to the community at large, we have designated United Cerebral Palsy of Luzerne County beneficiary of our tournament.

United Cerebral Palsy (Creating Unlimited Possibilities) of Luzerne County serves mentally and physically challenged individuals.  Our mission is the promotion of positive skills, working with clients to acquire additional levels of achievement and the genuine concern for the welfare of the individual.  The total involvement of the client in needs assessment and program planning/implementation and evaluation, is paramount in our effort.

The proceeds of the tournament will be donated to Creating Unlimited Possibilities in order to further serve the specialized needs of its clients.

Both First General Services and Creating Unlimited Possibilities would like to thank all of the golfers and hole sponsors for sharing their good fortune with those less fortunate.
